Rajputana Unani Medical College Hospital & Research Center

Since the year 1974 this college mainly concentrated for the development of the Unani System of medicine Prior to the year 1978-79 instruction were being imparted for:-

a) The Degree of UMADUTAL-HUKMA OF five years duration.
b) The Diploma in TABIB-FAZIL OF three years duration in the year of 1979 t government of Rajasthan decided and the college authorized agree to introduce the new course approved by the central council of Indian Medicine , New Delhi for the degree of KAMIL-E-TIBBI-O-JARAHAT{Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery} B.U.M.S Simultaneously the college was affiliated to the board of Indian Medicine Rajasthan as its Examination Body.
c) During the past few years the college has made all-round development with the result that in December,1986 it was affiliated with the university of Rajasthan vide their letter No.F.1-227/83/Acad.-11/5502, dated 30.12.1986for the pre tib.& KAMIL-E-TIBB-O-JARAHAT { Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery} COURSE FROM THE session 1986-87.

After the establishment of indians Second Ayurved University in Rajasthan as Rajasthan Ayurved university jodhpur in 2003 the college is affiliated to this university.

5) AIMS AND OBJECTS OF UNANI EDUCATION: To provide competent unani physician who can handle all sorts of cases

Medical as well as surgical based on their extensive knowledge, fundamental theories & the basic principles of the unani system of Medicine with Modern advances where necessary . Such unani graduates shall be competent to serve in the medical & health Services of the country.
